The new challenges of justice in current democracies: a socio-political reflection

| dc.description | The organisation of justice, the current concept of justice or its relationship with political power are now facing various and new challenges invariably related to the evolution of democratic culture, with citizens' conceptions of the role of Justice and the State, next to the development of the role of the State, within the framework of current democratic societies. According to this, from a socio-political perspective, what is articulated here is a theoretical-thoughtful proposal around these challenges, highlighting or emphasizing, especially, four topics of some relevance (a progressive increase in regulation and norms levels, western individualism, to judicialization of politics and globalization), due to the inescapable impact they already have on all judicial systems of democratic countries, despite the differences that may exist between the concepts of their legal systems | en |
| dc.description | La organización de la justicia, el concepto mismo de la justicia y su relación con el poder político se enfrentan hoy a diversos retos, relacionados invariablemente con la evolución de la cultura democrática, con las concepciones de los ciudadanos sobre el papel de la justicia y del Estado, junto con el desarrollo mismo del papel del Estado, en el marco de las sociedades democráticas actuales.
