Análisis de la biografía y de la obra de Mª Josefa Segovia Morón, una intelectual que desde comienzos del siglo XX cuya amplia producción escrita la sitúa entre las pensadoras más prolíficas de su época. Entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, comenzó en España una tendencia educativa renovadora que basaba sus cimientos en que el individuo debía recibir una formación que contemplase todas sus facetas de persona, sin realizar distinción alguna entre hombre y mujer. Padre Poveda y Mª Josefa Segovia, fundadores de la Institución Teresiana. En Esta Tesis se trata la figura de Mª Josefa Segovia, su biografía y su producción literaria. Ésta versa sobre materia sociológica, educacional y también teológica. Así mismo destaca su papel como creadora de asociaciones de estudiantes, fundadora de revistas educativas y asociaciones culturales, siempre guiada por su clara vocación de formar a la mujer.

Analysis of the biography and work of Maria Josefa Segovia Moron, an intellectual from the early twentieth century whose extensive written production places it among the most prolific thinkers of his time. Between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Spain started a trend in educational renewal that it based its foundations on which the individual should receive training in all aspects of contemplase person, without making any distinction between men and women. Father Poveda and Maria Josefa Segovia, founder of the Teresian Association. In this thesis treats the figure of Maria Josefa Segovia, her biography and literary production. It deals with sociological and educational material. It also highlights their role as creator of student associations, founder of educational magazines, and cultural, always guided by its clear vocation of educating women.
