[ES] Esta Tesis pretende aportar nuevos factores que explican el proceso de transición hacia Lean Management, tanto a nivel interno como a nivel de cadena de suministro. Esta se estructura en cuatro capítulos que abordan diversos objetivos complementarios e interrelacionados. El primero de ellos evalúa el estado del arte de la investigación sobre las relaciones entre Lean Management y Supply Chain Management en el sector aeroespacial, lo cual nos ha permitido identificar una serie de lagunas en la literatura. Así, intentamos abordar estas a través de una investigación empírica, en concreto una investigación de estudios de caso en este sector. De este modo, en el segundo capítulo buscamos identificar los factores que podrían desempeñar un papel crucial en el proceso de adopción de Lean Management. En el tercero, exploramos los factores claves relacionados con la gestión de los recursos humanos y el cambio cultural durante diversas fases de la transición hacia Lean Management. Por último, en el cuarto capítulo pretendemos identificar los factores determinantes que deben ser gestionados con vistas a lograr una adopción exitosa de Lean Supply Chain Management.

[EN] This thesis seeks to contribute new explanatory factors of the transition process to Lean Management, both internally and on the level of the supply chain. This is divided into four chapters which address several interrelated and complementary objectives. The first of them evaluates the state-of-the-art of research into the links between Lean Management and Supply Chain Management in the aerospace sector, which has allowed us to identify a series of gaps. Thus, we intend to address these gaps through an empirical research, specifically a case study research in this sector. Thereby, in the second chapter we seek to identify the factors that might play a crucial role in the adoption process of Lean Management. In the third chapter, we explore the key factors related with the human resources management and the cultural change during different phases of the Lean Management transition. Lastly, in the fourth chapter we intend to identify the determinant factors that must be managed in order to achieve a successful adoption of the Lean Supply Chain Management.
