[ES] Pretende poner sobre la mesa las luces y las sombras de la gestión que las autoridades españolas realizaron, en materia forestal, en el territorio del norte de Marruecos durante los años que trascurrieron entre 1912 y 1956, justificando su presencia en la zona al amparo de la figura legal de protectorado. Para la realización de este estudio se ha recurrido a una secuenciación cronológica de los hechos, haciendo coincidir las fases en las que se ha dividido este trabajo con otros tantos periodos de la historia española, separando en un capitulo concreto la gestión realizada por la compañía ferroviaria española, pues las particularidades detectadas en la misma obligaban a un análisis mucho más concreto de lo acontecido

[EN] We want to clarify the management that Spanish authorities made, with regard forestry, in the northern Morocco between 1912 and 1956, justifying its presence in this area under cover of legal figure of the protectorate. To realize this study we have resorted to a chronological sequence of events, so that the stages of the work coincide with several periods of the Spanish History, saving in a chapter the management realized by the rail firm, RENFE, due to the observed particularities in that one required a specific analysis of the events.
